BACKGROUND
Tattumundo is a home-grown brand that specializes in creating designer temporary tattoos made possible by their collaborations with a variety of illustrators and graphic designers from the Philippines.
THE CHALLENGE
How can you represent Philippine icons and symbols into unique wearable tattoo design?
Symbolic Filipino imagery
chose recognizable icons and illustrated them with geometric shapes, patterns and motifs influenced by Philippine culture.
Bold and striking elements
A lot of typographic elements were also incorporated into the sheet, as well as strong colors of red and blue.
