BACKGROUND
GoodType, an online creative community, has featured type artists to create limited edition tees that celebrate pride and equality. Part of the campaign’s proceeds will support The Okra Project aiding black trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming individuals.
THE CHALLENGE
How can you convey the statement ‘Be Good’ in the context of pride and equality — as a t-shirt graphic?
On a mission to spread love
I crafted ‘Be Good’ into a bold heart-shaped piece, symbolizing empathy and compassion. Surrounded by expressive swashes, strokes, and colorful splatters, this composition takes cues from the artistic Pride movement and the beautiful tapestry of identities in the LGBTQ+ community. Overall, my design serves as a reminder to always be kind and inclusive to all human beings.
